Nagatan to Aoto: Ichika no Ryourichou
ながたんと青と－いちかの料理帖－
In 1950s Kyoto, Ichika, the daughter of a traditional Ryōtei restaurant, was given only a kitchen knife by her husband before he disappeared during the war. Determined to be self-reliant, she worked in a Western-style hotel kitchen. At 34, she is compelled to marry a 19-year-old from a wealthy family to ensure the survival of her family's restaurant.
