A girl named Renka, who remembers her past life, comes from a merchant family in Osaka and has been reborn in a setting similar to ancient China. At her father's insistence, she joins the imperial harem for bridal training alongside other candidates. She faces difficulties, including slipping into her native dialect and being disrespected by other concubines. Fueled by her background in commerce, she decides to rely on trade rather than her position to navigate the harem. One day, a man enters her room—only the emperor is allowed to do so.
