Bojji is the eldest son of a royal family but is considered weak and ineffective, unable to use even a child's sword and suffering from deafness. Despite the scorn and doubt from others, he remains determined to become the greatest king. He forms a bond with Kage, a shadow-like figure who communicates with him and was once part of an assassin clan nearly destroyed. Now a thief, Kage becomes Bojji’s first friend. The narrative explores Bojji’s personal growth as he interacts with different individuals, beginning with his meeting of Kage.
