In the year 200X, individuals use Personal Terminals (PETs) to connect to the Cyber Network and interact with AI programs known as NetNavis. While technology has created a prosperous society, it has also led to an increase in cybercrime. A group called World Three seeks to dismantle this digital utopia. Lan Hikari, a curious and upbeat fifth grader, partners with his NetNavi, MegaMan, to combat this threat. Together, they work to stop World Three’s attempts to dominate the world through hacking and other cyber-related activities.
