Sengoku Youko

Two opposing groups inhabit the world: humans and a race of creatures known as katawara. Tama, a katawara, is devoted to defending humans from harm, even when it puts her at odds with her own kind. Her brother Jinka, who is largely human, holds a deep hatred for humans. Together with Shinsuke, a swordsman eager to grow stronger but lacking in courage, the trio discovers a scheme involving experiments that turn humans into monsters. They resolve to stop the mastermind behind the plan, even if it requires facing a vast army.
