Takagi Akira, an apartment owner, encounters Oodoi after witnessing him rescue an elderly man from a gang. Impressed by Oodoi's bravery, Akira invites him to stay in his home. Oodoi enjoys the comfort of the apartment and remains there. Akira assumes Oodoi's tough past is behind him. However, when Akira faces harassment from mobsters and considers selling his apartment, Oodoi intervenes to protect him. It is later revealed that Oodoi is actually a yakuza.
