Tsubasa no Hana ga Ochiri Goro

A man named Souta is taken in by the Tsubakiya, a prestigious brothel in Edo's Yoshiwara district, under the condition that his gender remains a secret for one year to support his family. Over the next ten years, he successfully establishes himself as a renowned courtesan known as Shirotsubaki Hanakai, never being discovered. When a painter named Ryushun arrives to depict the famed white camellia courtesan, he quickly recognizes that she is actually a man. Shirotsubaki, who has abandoned her original identity to live as a woman, and Ryushun, who is deeply devoted to painting beautiful women, find themselves entangled in a complex relationship. Their connection raises questions about whether they can pursue a genuine emotional bond within the confines of the brothel.
