Despite knowing it's a bad idea, Leon is deeply affected by the encounter. Meanwhile, a conman named John takes in a pickpocket named Jean, unaware of the complications to come. In another story, a man with binoculars obsessively watches a dirty apartment, intrigued by an author whose new book shares the man's name. A former Oscar-winning duo, Tom and Jim, reconnect after years apart, both now struggling in their careers. In Spain, Angel moves to Japan and becomes popular, but is drawn to his coworker Taka, who turns out to be gay but not his type. Finally, Leon's grandfather discovers his relationship with Al.
