Umineko no Naku Koro ni Episode 1: Legend of the Golden Witch

The Ushiromiya family reunites annually at the home of their patriarch, Kinzo, a reclusive elder. Battler, who has not attended the gathering in six years, returns to find his cousins troubled by a storm and unsettling predictions from the youngest. Tensions also run high due to disputes over the family inheritance. While Battler dismisses superstitions, including the legend of a witch who supposedly brought wealth to his grandfather and haunts the mansion, a typhoon strands eighteen family members and staff on the island. As disturbing incidents unfold, Battler is left questioning whether someone in the family would commit murder for financial gain or if the witch is behind the chaos.
