The discovery of T.K.'s Crest of Hope reveals a cave engraved with Digi-code, Izzy speculates the Digital World to be a virtual reality. Izzy receives an e-mail from someone asking for help from within Etemon's headquarters, a large upside down pyramid. Tai, feeling a sense of invincibility from Izzy's theory, leads the group as they meet Datamon, the Dark Network's creator who promises to give them Sora's Crest if they free him. But once freed as Etemon arrive, Datamon betrays the DigiDestined and spirits Sora and Biyomon into another part of the pyramid. By that time, after Izzy explains that he could be wrong about them being unable to die, Tai is too frightened to pursue Datamon. (Source: Wikipedia)
