The fate of Kujirai B is partially revealed. Kujirai A meets with Dr. Hebinuma and asks if she's a zirconian and gets an unexpected response. She decides to go shopping in Hong Kong with Yaomei but they meet Gwen who reveals even more about Kowloon, the Second Walled City.

Yaomay goes to Hong Kong and investigates the second walled city of Kowloon. While the rest of asia was going through winter, she spent a hot, steamy summer in Kowloon. While she is gone investigating, Reiko and Hajime rekindle their romance.
