8 Man AFTER

After 8 Man vanishes, the city faces attacks from violent drug-fueled gangs. Hazuma, a former police officer turned private investigator, is hired to find a scientist accused of stealing cybernetic technology from Professor Tani's lab. The stolen parts are being used to create weapons implanted in the bodies of rogue addicts. During the case, Hazuma is killed. Professor Tani uses his body as a model to rebuild 8 Man. The new 8 Man assumes Hazuma's identity to hide his true nature, struggling to balance the detective's personality with his role as an emotionless cyborg hero.
