In the early 1930s, a transcontinental train called Flying Pussyfoot begins a journey marked by violence across the United States. Meanwhile, in New York, a scientist named Szilard and his reluctant assistant search for lost vials of an elixir that grants immortality. A worsening conflict between mafia factions unfolds simultaneously. Centuries earlier, in 1711, alchemists aboard the Advena Avis confront the cost of eternal life. These seemingly separate events, spanning different times and locations, are linked through a larger narrative involving alchemy, survival, and the pursuit of immortality. The story centers on Isaac and Miria, two well-meaning aspiring thieves who bring together individuals with secret goals, forming lasting connections and shaping the outcomes of their lives.
