Norakuro-kun

In 1987, a family in Suganami, Tokyo struggles financially as the father earns minimal income from his regular office job. To make ends meet, they rent out the second floor of their apartment. One day, an older dog and a younger boy-dog visit and introduce themselves as Norayama Kuroyoshi and Norakuro. The older dog plans to start a detective agency and wants to use the rented space as an office, with Norakuro as director. He also recruits Keita, one of the family's sons, as an employee, and seeks advice from Rika Sawaguchi, a high school student who lives nearby. Three days after the office opens, they receive their first case when the phone rings.
