In a desolate, dust-covered Japan, a mysterious fungus is believed to hold the key to recovery. Bisco Akaboshi, an outlaw with archery skills, is on a mission to locate the mythical Sabikui mushroom, which is rumored to consume rust. Accompanying him are a large crab and a young physician.
