Tsuki to Laika to Nosferatu

A fictional world is shaped by the aftermath of a decade-long war that split the globe into two superpowers: the Union of Zirnitra Republics in the east and the United Kingdom of Arnak in the west. These powers compete in a space race, with the Union launching the Mechtat Program in 1960 to send humans into space. The Republic builds the secretive city of Laika 44 to train cosmonauts and develop space technology. Lev Leps, a reserve astronaut, works with Irina Ruminescu, a vampire, as part of Operation Nosferatu. Irina is being tested for her suitability for space conditions, with Lev supervising her training. Both have personal reasons for wanting to travel to space.
