Mashiro no Oto

A gifted shamisen player named Sawamura Matsugorou dies, leaving his grandson, Sawamura Setsu, unable to play. Stripped of his cherished sound, Setsu travels to Tokyo in search of a new one. Tachiki Yuna, employed at a club, arranges for him to perform as an opening act. Setsu infuses his shamisen playing with thoughts and emotions about others, continuing his quest for a personal sound and genuine feelings.
