This entry is the third installment in the Monogatari series, divided into five parts. It includes the Ougi Formula, Sodachi Riddle, Sodachi Lost, and Shinobu Mail arcs from the light novels. During his third year of high school in October, Koyomi Araragi meets Ougi Oshino, a transfer student introduced by Suruga Kanbaru. Ougi asks Koyomi for help with a personal matter. While drawing a map of Naoetsu High School, she notices an unusual detail. This leads to the uncovering of a hidden story, altering Koyomi’s high school experience. The narrative explores what defines Koyomi Araragi and reveals the origins of his journey. The first episode is approximately 48 minutes long, longer than the usual 24-minute format.
