A city with thousands of levels exists, where in a shutdown area, the layers overlap so completely that orientation is impossible. The narrative centers on a mysterious figure named Kirii, who travels through this environment in search of uninfected "Net Terminal Genes." His mission is central to the story's mystery. Additional animated segments, labeled Log1 to Log6, depict brief scenes from the manga featuring Cibo, a character who accompanies Kirii. In one scene, Cibo begins downloading from a discarded disc, raising questions about whose "Memory" will be retrieved. These segments are supplementary to the manga and do not contain a full plot.
