Sidonia no Kishi

A thousand years have passed since the Gauna, an alien species with no known means of communication, devastated the solar system. Survivors fled aboard massive vessels like the Sidonia, which sustain the human population as they travel through space. Nagate Tanikaze, raised in the lower sections of the ship, begins training to pilot the Gardes, large robotic weapons used in combat. He is assigned to operate the notable unit Tsugumori. Alongside other pilots, Nagate faces the Gauna in a desperate struggle to ensure humanity's continued existence.
