Yawara learns Hagoromo is absent and returns with a severe hangover. The Tsurukame president congratulates him on securing the Kato Chu deal and the Toyosan automobile account in Hokkaido, totaling Forty billion yen. Hagoromo credits Matsuda for taking Yawara to the All Japan Championship and for his judo stories. At home, Hagoromo faces issues with his wife and son. Yawara visits Matsuda to cook, where he accidentally falls on his bad leg. He hides porno materials but cannot conceal a poster of Yawara’s takedown of a street thief 2 years ago. They talk about her work until Kuniko interrupts and pushes Yawara out. Meanwhile, Fujiko searches for Hanazono, who is training, and worries he might be popular with women.
