Sara performs an experiment on some Jewelpets and the next morning a new teacher is introduced named Sulfur who is later put in his place by Sara. Akari than learns that Sara has already memorizes every textbook of every class there is know and she is now creating new spells after class and while Sulfur is pondering about why Sara is still in the fourth grade Harlite explains that the only things she can understand are the things she can study and memorize. Akari decides to help Sara with her experiments and learns that she is in the middle of trying to create a shrinking spell to turn the Jewelpets she turned big back to their normal size. During the experiments instead of being scared Akari and Ruby have quite a lot of fun much to the shock of Sara and Sapphie. Sulfur later asks them why they are helping Sara out and Akari explains that it must be lonely working by herself all the time and Sulfur decides to join her but quickly regrets it. Akari later decides to try out the spell herself but ends up making the Jewelpets bigger ans her smaller. Sara transforms and manages to find her and learns the spell fine it was just the emotion behind it and everyone is returned to normal.
