Sakuya tells Aine about his past. His mother was an alcoholic jazz singer. Sakuya was the unwanted child she had with an American man, and she neglected him. Aine thinks of phrases for the new song, and gives them to Sakuya in front of some of his fans. They ambush Aine, but Sakuya rescues her and promises to protect her.
