Sakuya reveals his past to Aine, explaining that his mother was an alcoholic jazz singer who neglected him as the unwanted child of an American man. Meanwhile, Aine develops phrases for a new song and presents them to Sakuya in front of his fans. These fans ambush Aine, but Sakuya rescues her and promises to protect her. The band observes that Sakuya has changed since meeting Aine.
