"Parent's Day Horrors": As Ataru and Shinobu's mothers arrive to school for parents day, Shutarou's mother's ox-cart gets crushed by Lum's mother's spaceship. Lum is asked to translate the Mendo matriarch's grievances, since her mother doesn't speak Japanese, but her poor translation skill causes many misunderstandings. "Since Your Parting": Ataru snaps at Lum who disappears, leaving behind a little handmade doll in her image. In the following days, Lum's absence causes quite a stir and has devastating effects on Ataru.
