Bocchi is approached by foreigner Sotoko Rakita, who becomes downhearted when Bocchi tells her that she isn't a ninja. Bocchi tries to cheer Sotoko up by making origami shurikens, offering to be friends with her, but this leads Sotoko to believe that Bocchi is a ninja master in disguise and ask to become her apprentice instead.
