A.D. Police

A few years prior to *Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040*, this series follows a specialized police unit in Mega-Tokyo responsible for managing out-of-control Boomers. Officer Kenji Sasaki deals with the loss of another colleague to a rogue Boomer and is temporarily removed from duty. Shortly after, he is assigned a new partner, Hans Kleif, a German officer. The two had a prior encounter in which Kenji punched Hans at a bar. Kenji must now navigate the challenges of his job while working alongside someone he previously attacked.
