Arakawa Under the Bridge

A boy named Ko Ichinomiya has a personal rule of never owing anyone anything, but after an embarrassing accident involving the Arakawa River, he is rescued by a girl named Nino who lives under the bridge. To repay her, he agrees to help her learn about love. As they spend time together, they encounter other unusual individuals who also live by the river, including a passionate kappa, a drag queen posing as a nun, and a musician who is also a rock star. Ko soon realizes that getting involved with these people may have been more complicated than he expected.
