After Daigo walked Sakura home, it was revealed that Daigo quitted the team as he thought he looked like a loser and couldn't play baseball as freely as he wanted, given that he is the renowned Goro's son. In exchange for getting a new console from his mom, Daigo was forced to play in the Dolphins again.
