第 5 集: Izana 和 Tsumugi 接受義肢與再生治療，Sidonia 抵達 Lem Star System
Izana have her lost right arm and left leg replaced with prosthetic limbs while Tsumugi is put in a special chamber for regenerating. Nagate feels gloomy due to Tsumugi's condition, but some time later, he cheers up again when he learns that she is fully recuperated. Meanwhile, Sidonia arrives at the Lem Star System to confront the Gauna and fires its retro-thrusters to slow down just as Nagate and Izana are exploring some tunnels, almost being killed in the occasion, but succeed in allowing Tsumugi to take a look at the Residential Area through her probe, much to her joy. Back to the dorm, Nagate is informed that his room will be reserved for another cadet and he must move somewhere else. He then asks Izana to stay at her house for a while, much to her surprise.
