Ep. 5: Izana and Tsumugi receive prosthetics and regeneration while Sidonia arrives at Lem Star System

Izana receives prosthetic replacements for her lost right arm and left leg, while Tsumugi undergoes regeneration in a special chamber. Nagate feels depressed about Tsumugi's condition but recovers his spirits upon learning of her full recovery. Sidonia reaches the Lem Star System to confront the Gauna, firing retro-thrusters to decelerate. This maneuver nearly kills Nagate and Izana while they explore tunnels, but it allows Tsumugi to view the Residential Area via probe, bringing her joy. Back at the dormitory, Nagate is informed that his room is reserved for another cadet, requiring him to relocate. He subsequently asks Izana to let him stay at her house, surprising her.
