Seton Doubutsuki: Risu no Banner

A baby squirrel is born and ends up on a farm, where it is captured by a human who attempts to give it to their cat. The cat, moved by pity, takes in the squirrel, raises it as its own, and gives it the name Banner. The two live together on the farm, but their peaceful life is interrupted when a fire breaks out and destroys the property. The disaster causes Banner to become separated from his cat mother.
