25. Juni 1995Rei takes Miki on a stock acquiring trip, and Miki decides that she wants to run a similar shop when she grows up. Miki goes on an outing with Michael and Kei, who ask her to pick one of them by the end of the outing. Miki is distracted by memories of a past date with Yuu at the same place. Kei tells her that she doesn't have to forget Yuu if she's his girlfriend.

2. Juli 1995The breakup has caused Ginta to remember his feelings for Miki. Arimi notices, and understandably gets upset with him. Ginta claims he's just worried about Miki as a friend and doesn't trust Kei, but Arimi knows that isn't true, even if he doesn't. Kei and Miki go on a pleasant date.

9. Juli 1995Kei takes Miki to his relative's private greenhouse. When she gets home, Ginta confronts her, expressing his distrust for Kei and nearly confessing to her on accident. He tries to meet up with Arimi to apologize for his behavior, but she leaves a note that simply says "Goodbye." Ginta talks to Tsutomu, who goes and blames Miki for the whole mess. Once she finds out what has happened, Miki and Tsutomu recruit Yayoi to help them set Ginta and Arimi up at the amusement park to reconcile.

16. Juli 1995Miki finds dating Kei relaxing. Miwa writes Yuu a letter asking him to come home for at least part of summer break. Undecided, Yuu goes on a beach trip with An and his American friends. The Americans sort out their feelings for each other, and An tries to work up the courage to confess to Yuu again.

23. Juli 1995Yuu's return (with An) has Miki feeling confused. She had thought she was happy with Kei, and even tells Yuu she's happy with her new boyfriend, but... Later, Michael apologizes to Yuu for misunderstanding and telling Miki that Yuu was dating Jinny. An questions whether Yuu is alright with where things stand now, and Yuu reiterates that he just wants Miki to be happy.

30. Juli 1995Kijima and Rei invite just about everyone on a camping trip. Miki spends a lot of time wistfully watching Yuu and An, thinking they're a couple, and Kei notices. That evening, he confronts her about it, asking Miki straight-out if she loves him. Miki realizes that she is still stuck on Yuu, and runs off.

6. Aug. 1995Miki feels bad for leading Kei on and hurting An, but Meiko tells her that not doing anything would have been worse. Back together, Miki and Yuu decide to belatedly celebrate each others birthdays. Yuu promises to get Miki a nice ring, and Miki resolves to get Yuu a nice watch to replace his broken one. While home alone, Yuu accidentally finds their parents' college yearbook, including some shocking photos of their parents together. Could this hold the key to who Yuu's father is...? Yuu, assuming the worst, runs off to Miwa's house, calls Miki to meet up, then tells her that he no longer has feelings for her.

13. Aug. 1995Miki doesn't understand why Yuu broke up with her after all they've been through. Wanting to protect Miki's relationship with her parents, Yuu only told Miwa that his and Miki's parents dated in college, and Jin, Miki's father, is his father too. Yuu decides to go back to New York early, so he and Miki don't have to see each other anymore. Meiko tries to confront him at the airport for hurting Miki, but Miwa takes her aside and tells her that she doesn't know the full truth, and Yuu is suffering just as much.

20. Aug. 1995Miki tries her best to move on from Yuu, packing up all of Yuu's presents and hiding them in her dresser. At one point, she runs into Kei, who tells her he wants to be friends, and is glad that they can still talk normally. The summer break is almost over when she invites Meiko over for a sleepover. While getting out pajamas, Miki sees the box of Yuu's presents and breaks down sobbing. Meiko suggests that she go see Yuu and give him a good talking to, for closure.

27. Aug. 1995Without telling anyone, Miki gets on a plane for New York. Once there she goes straight to Yuu and tells him how much she loves him and how hard the summer has been for her. Yuu can't stand to listen to this anymore, and tells her that they're related. Yuu tries to take her back to the airport, but instead Miki runs away and wanders downtown Manhattan, eventually ending up in a seedy neighborhood. Miki gets rescued from a gang by some small children, a brother and sister. Yuu recruits his friends to help search for her, telling them that he and Miki are blood relatives, and they find her in the nick of time. Miki and Yuu are so relieved to find each other, and they declare that being related won't stop them.
EP 76Yuu und Miki stehen ihren Eltern in New York gegenüber, was zu einer Hochzeit und einer überraschenden Ankündigung führt.
3. Sept. 1995After explaining everything to the Americans, Yuu takes Miki to the airport, for real this time. But before she can get a ticket, she hears a crowd of people calling her name! Meiko, Miwa, and all of her parents flew to New York to find her! Once they reach the semi-privacy of the dorms, Yuu yells at the adults for hiding their college relationships from the kids. Their parents think this is hilarious, but are confused when Yuu brings up his "real dad." Chiyako admits that although she did get pregnant with Jin's baby, ultimately she miscarried. All the parents then tell Miki and Yuu that they have known all along that they're dating, and tell them the make a cute couple. Fast forward a year and everyone is still dating, and at Meiko and Namura's wedding. And if that isn't exciting enough, Miki and Yuu's parents have a big announcement to make!
