Hakuren detects tainted Bascules, indicating a Warsfeil's presence, leading the group to identify Bastian as the culprit and pursue him. Bastian converses with Frau in her cell before leaving. Teito and Hakuren infiltrate his room, discovering a hidden passage. They follow the corridor to find Bastian, who immediately launches a lethal attack on Teito.
