Ep. 20: Teito and Hakuren escape capture with Frau's help while the Eye of Mikhail sacrifices itself

Following their capture by Ayanami, Teito and Hakuren flee a military airship and receive assistance from Frau. During the ensuing conflict, the Eye of Mikhail detaches from Teito to preserve his life, unleashing its full power to rain fire upon enemy vessels. Frau chooses to save Teito, allowing the Eye to fall into enemy hands. Later, the bishops present Frau with a plant, which she gardens to honor Bishop Bastian, who was reborn as a tree after falling into darkness. Teito acknowledges Hakuren as a friend and prepares for the bishop exam. However, his preparations are complicated when he accidentally breaks a key token belonging to Bishop Lance, who serves as their head examiner.
