Ep. 22: Teito and Hakuren Face Inner Daemons After Meeting Former Assistant Archbishops

Following the first exam, Teito and Hakuren observe other participants failing due to greed. They discover the elderly individuals they assisted were Former Assistant Archbishops evaluating the candidates. Meanwhile, church defenders prepare for an advancing military threat. Guided by the archbishops, the pair visit Lazet the mermaid, who leads them to a sanctuary. There, Teito encounters his father and the priest who raised him, receiving a reminder to remember his identity as the Prince of Raggs Kingdom. They return to find Bishop Lance waiting. The second exam requires facing inner daemons in a room. Both succeed, with Hakuren defeating a giant Wars and Teito confronting his greatest enemy, Ayanami, in person.
