Ep. 5: Kakeru awakens powers to defeat a black knight protecting Yuka during the Red Night

Kakeru and Yuka meet Kukuri, a mute girl who resembles Kakeru’s deceased sister. Kakeru resumes sword training with Misuzu at school before the Red Night begins. During this event, Misuzu is immediately attacked by a black knight, forcing Kakeru and Yuka to flee. As they attempt to escape the school grounds, a black knight blocks their path. The knight initially overpowers Kakeru, but while protecting Yuka, Kakeru’s powers awaken. He successfully defeats the black knight opponent, securing their escape from the immediate threat.
