Haruyuki realizes Brain Burst is a VRMMO fighting game after losing to Ash Roller. Kuroyukihime explains the duel rules for earning Burst Points and reveals his Silver Crow avatar stems from his inferiority complex. He refuses her offer to quit, choosing to help her instead. Kuroyukihime then spreads a false rumor about rejecting her confession to deter other students. Armed with new knowledge, Haruyuki challenges Ash Roller to a rematch. Silver Crow attempts to win by timeout by climbing a building, but Ash Roller uses an upgraded motorcycle to scale walls and attack. Haruyuki identifies the rear wheel drive weakness, lifts the wheel to immobilize his opponent, and wins with a headbutt, impressing other Burst Linkers. Upon logging out, he is congratulated by Kuroyukihime, but Chiyuri immediately confronts her, accusing her of manipulating Haruyuki.
