After Haru and Takumu disclose their secrets to Chiyuri, they begin tag team training. Haru upgrades to level 2 prematurely, leaving him with few Burst Points. He refuses Takumu’s offer to share points, citing honor. The pair visit Chiyuri, explaining Brain Burst over ice cream. Takumu suggests Haru hire a bodyguard, Aqua Current, to protect him until he regains points. Haru discovers Current is female during the hiring process. Current arranges a battle against two Burst Linkers, helping Haru win. She then erases his memory to protect her identity and vows to never see him again. Meanwhile, Takumu visits Kuroyukihime at the hospital. She activates her Burst Link and challenges him to a duel, questioning his departure from the ken-do club and his desire to uninstall Brain Burst. Through this confrontation, Takumu realizes the depth of Haru’s admiration for him.
