Kuroyukihime informs Chiyuri of her relationship with Haru and explains her situation. Brain Burst, created seven years ago, restricts acceleration to those with neuro-linkers, keeping all players aged 15 and younger hidden from public view. To find the creator, Kuroyukihime must reach level 10, a goal requiring five victories over level 9 opponents, where a single loss causes permanent uninstallation. Previously a King of Pure Color, she betrayed the group by beheading the Red King two years ago, forcing her to seal Black Lotus and remain offline. A recent duel challenge from Cyan Pile threatens to expose her identity. Suspecting Chiyuri despite Haru’s doubts about her gaming skills, Haru visits her home. They reconcile, and Haru learns that while Chiyuri is not Cyan Pile, a backdoor connection exists that could help identify the challenger.
