Retsuko and a friend attend a wedding reception, praising the couple's compatibility while Retsuko gives a substantial portion of her savings as a gift. Upon learning of the couple's divorce, she feels regret over the expense. However, contemplating her own future, Retsuko realizes that marriage could allow her to resign from her current position. Motivated by this idea, she enrolls in yoga classes, where she befriends her colleagues Gori and Washimi. Before she can act on her plan, she receives another call from her friend revealing that the couple has reconciled, meaning her financial gift was not wasted after all.
