Retsuko runs into her free-spirited friend Puko while shopping for clothes. They later dine together, where Puko shares plans to launch a new business and invites Retsuko to join. Retsuko hesitates because she feels unable to quit her current job. However, her resolve shifts after experiencing further irritation at work. Her colleague Tsunode assigns her additional paperwork, while Ton and Komiya spend their time daydreaming about playing golf. These accumulated frustrations ultimately lead Retsuko to decide to resign from her position.
