AIR (Movie)

Long ago, a princess and the last of a winged people, Kanna, was imprisoned in a castle due to fear from others. She met a soldier named Ryuuya, with whom she fell in love and shared her longing to see the outside world and find her mother. Ryuuya tried to help, but Kanna was ultimately trapped in the sky by magic and condemned to eternal suffering. Centuries later, Yukito, a descendant of Ryuuya, arrives in a peaceful town before its annual festival, seeking to earn money. He meets a unique girl named Misuzu, which triggers a memory of his mother’s warning: to free the reincarnation of the winged girl if he encounters her. Yukito and Misuzu grow close, but when Yukito discovers her link to the past, he faces a choice—stay with her or try to end Kanna’s centuries-long curse.
