Ep. 4: Kaito defends Kotobuki Takeshi from prison guards while news reports killings linked to Satou's list.

Inmates interrogate Kotobuki Takeshi about his mysterious escape, beating him until Kaito intervenes and suffers severe injuries without aid. Takeshi warns Kaito that protecting him is dangerous. Television news reports that Iwasaki Keita, previously on Satou's list, has been killed alongside his bodyguards, followed by the deaths of two additional targets. Meanwhile, Tosaki's team, including Kei and Kou, continues their rigorous training. Douglas Almeida and Carley Myers arrive from the U.S. Department of Defense to investigate Professor Ogura's death, suspecting Sato, though Ogura remains alive as part of Tosaki's scheme. Back in prison, the three adults resume their assault on Takeshi. Kaito attempts to help again but is nearly choked to death. Takeshi then activates his IBM to save Kaito, revealing he is an Ajin, and offers to help Kaito escape.
