Oct 15, 2016Satou alters his appearance as assistants secure flight tickets. Kei and Kou engage in physical conditioning, while Tosaki formulates a strategy to capture Satou. Izumi introduces them to Ikuya Ogura, who tests Kei’s IBM. The device operates contrary to commands and acts on independent impulses, though behavior varies by host. Satou boards a plane with target Kazuo Sakurai, using Okyuama’s IBM to smuggle a bag. He kills the target and guards, then detonates a bomb to force a sea landing. During training, Kei warns Kou against bonding with Ministry troops, suggesting they may be sacrificed, which shocks Kou. Tosaki anticipates Satou will target Kishi, the Minister for Health, Labour and Welfare, and initiates plans to set a trap. However, Satou’s team locates Kishi in the mountains and eliminates him using an IBM, bypassing high security measures. Tosaki’s group continues training and deepens their understanding of IBMs through Ogura’s expertise. Kei reflects on his behavioral issues and lack of empathy, while Tosaki reminds him that his best friend Kaito is currently in juvenile detention for assisting him. Takeshi warns Kaito that protecting him is dangerous. Television news reports that Iwasaki Keita, previously on Satou's list, has been killed alongside his bodyguards, followed by the deaths of two additional targets. Meanwhile, Tosaki's team, including Kei and Kou, continues their rigorous training. Douglas Almeida and Carley Myers arrive from the U.S. Department of Defense to investigate Professor Ogura's death, suspecting Sato, though Ogura remains alive as part of Tosaki's scheme. Back in prison, the three adults resume their assault on Takeshi. Kaito attempts to help again but is nearly choked to death. Takeshi then activates his IBM to save Kaito, revealing he is an Ajin, and offers to help Kaito escape.
5EP 5Tosaki is abducted by Myers and Almeida while his team prepares to trap Satou.
Nov 5, 2016As Tosaki finalizes preparations for his plan, two additional targets on Satou's list are eliminated. Myers and Almeida interrogate Tosaki, with Almeida harboring suspicion regarding Ogura's death and believing Tosaki is concealing crucial information. Subsequently, four more individuals from the list are killed. Meanwhile, Tosaki's team, including Kei and Kou, intensifies their efforts to confront Satou. Tosaki instructs Shimomura to steal the Minister's schedule to set a trap. While Tosaki waits for Shimomura in the carpark, Almeida immobilizes and abducts him. Shimomura arrives and attacks using her IBM, but Myers, also an Ajin, employs her own IBM to disable Shimomura. The pair then depart with the unconscious Tosaki in their vehicle.

Tosaki later learns her parents died fighting after her mother attacked the stepfather. Meanwhile, Almeida tortures Tosaki for Ogura’s location without success. Upon recovering, Shimomura informs Kei, who initially chooses to move their hideout instead of rescuing Tosaki. Shimomura persuades Kei that they are essential to defeat Satou, leading to a raid on the safe house. Almeida and Myers escape with Tosaki, with Almeida criticizing Myers. Kei’s team pursues by car as Almeida heads toward the USA Embassy.
7EP 7Satou assassinates the Minister and targets President Hashiguchi while Myers kills Almeida.
Nov 19, 2016Satou’s group prepares to assassinate the Minister. During the chase for Almeida, Kei’s IBM causes a crash with Shimomura’s car. Myers disables Shimomura, but Shimomura tranquilizes Almeida to silence his criticism. Myers kills Almeida in anger and leaves. Tosaki wakes up angry that his team rescued him instead of trapping Satou. Satou ambushes the Minister, ignores his deal, and kills him. Kei emails the Americans, revealing Satou has Ogura. Satou announces he will kill President Hashiguchi of Musashi Heavy Industries in three days. Chief Cabinet Secretary Mitsui announces a new Anti-Ajin Special Force. Dec 3, 2016Satou’s team breaches Musashi Heavy Industries, neutralizing special weapons to fight with conventional arms against trained anti-Ajin forces. Despite their training to incapacitate rather than kill, they cannot stop Satou’s superior combat skills as they ascend to the upper floors. There, they encounter Kei’s group, who have already captured President Hashiguchi and threaten his life to deny Satou victory. Satou appears defeated and is tranquilized, but his IBM activates, killing him to reset his state and subsequently eliminating Kei’s human members. Reinforcements arrive by helicopter, forcing a retreat with Hashiguchi, whom Satou kills to access a high-security lab.
