Ep. 1: Tatsumi joins Night Raid after witnessing Aria's cruelty and killing her

Seeking funds for his village, Tatsumi travels to the capital and is robbed by a woman before being taken in by Aria. While waiting for friends Sayo and Ieyasu, he learns of the wanted assassin group Night Raid. The group attacks Aria's manor, killing her parents and guards. Tatsumi fights Night Raid member Akame until Leone, the robber, intervenes. She reveals that Aria and her parents tortured villagers, including Sayo, who is already dead. Before Ieyasu succumbs to his injuries, Tatsumi kills Aria. Impressed by his ruthless efficiency, Leone invites Tatsumi to join Night Raid.
