Ep. 3: Tatsumi witnesses Mine's lethal precision and resolves to trust her shooting skills during a dangerous mission.

Tatsumi discovers Bulat's Imperial Arm, Incursio, while defending their base. He accidentally interrupts Mine while she is changing, leading to an awkward moment. The pair go shopping in the capital, where Tatsumi realizes this was intended as his training. They observe public executions, and Tatsumi understands Mine's drive to survive. Night Raid is assigned to assassinate a prime minister's relative and his guards. Mine eliminates the target surrounded by innocents, surprising Tatsumi, while the team defeats most guards. After Mine shares her backstory and reasons for joining Night Raid, they face an ambush by a surviving guard. Tatsumi restrains the guard, urging Mine to shoot him despite the risk to himself. Trusting her ability, he encourages her, and she fires, killing the guard while narrowly missing Tatsumi. She considers acknowledging him but retracts it when he complains about the graze. Meanwhile, a mysterious figure observes Akame's wanted poster, claiming the capital is ideal for supplying victims.
