Travas and his team successfully start the train and escape their enemies. During the escape, Matilda reveals to Axe that Travas is Lillia's father and admits he caused her father's death. Although Axe holds a grudge, she resolves to continue her work until the end, honoring her father's legacy. Travas realizes Treize was the original target, and Matilda convinces him to go save Treize and the other passengers. Meanwhile, Lillia is abducted and separated from the group in an attempt to lure out Treize.
