They ride Wil’s motorcycle and encounter an old man on a bridge known for fabricating tales. After giving him a ride, he claims a treasure in Sou Beil could end the war. A man from the town hall abruptly takes the old man away, but Wil suspects deception. Allison and Wil pursue them, discovering the old man was taken in a large plane. Moved by their story, the woman changes her view of Roxche residents. She provides military uniforms belonging to her deceased husband and son to assist them in rescuing an abducted old man.

The trio steals a seaplane while the old man holds off pursuing forces, but he triggers an explosion immediately after takeoff and is subsequently shot. The lieutenant, identified as Ker, receives orders to pursue Allison and Wil, with instructions to kill them if they attempt to cross the border. Two Sou Beil army officers arrive and nearly shoot Allison, Ker, and Wil, but Wil shoots first. This causes one officer to misfire on the cave roof, triggering a cave-in that kills both officers. The discovery of the mural ultimately serves to end the war between Roxche and Sou Beil.

May 9, 2008Allison and Wil escape to a village where they reunite with Ker and encounter Fiona. She agrees to hide them from the villagers in exchange for a ride to the capital city of Kunst. Fiona intends to interrupt a political speech to reveal that she is the surviving princess of Ikstova, whose royal family was believed to have perished ten years ago. Her true name is Francesca. Although the group attempts to flee the village, they are quickly surrounded by locals. However, the village leader permits Fiona to proceed with her plan after hearing her intentions. Consequently, Fiona, Ker, Allison, and Wil depart for Kunst using Ker's vehicle.

May 15, 2008Allison, Wil, Ker, and Fiona return to the Sou Beil air base to execute a scheme where Allison and Wil attempt to steal a fighter plane, while Ker and Fiona pilot a commercial sight-seeing aircraft. Soldiers block the runway, forcing Allison to divert toward a nearby town and eventually take flight by descending into the cliffs. During the journey, Fiona reveals she is not a real princess, and Ker admits he is not a true hero, crediting Allison and Wil for discovering the mural that ended the war.
