Ep. 2: Jinta and friends seek a rare Nokémon monster to grant Menma's wish.

Jinta shares his visions of Menma with Tetsudou, who immediately believes him. Anaru meets Chiriko, who cries upon hearing Menma's name, revealing Naruko's guilt over the past tragedy. Tetsudou hypothesizes that Menma desires a rare Nokémon monster, prompting Jinta to purchase one from Anaru's shop. After playing all night, the group learns they need a trade to obtain the creature. They visit Anaru, who agrees to assist if Jinta returns to school. Menma observes Anaru's collection of games and manga fondly. Although they secure the monster, it proves not to be the desired wish. Despite this, the group remains hopeful. Jinta discovers his own goal: to apologize to Menma regarding the incident that led to her death.
